November has officially rushed past me (along with all my good intentions of posting about national adoption month, this great new ministry, and their upcoming giveaway which will include - among lots of great prizes - a gift certificate to my shop).  Life has been busy!  If I owe you an email, please forgive me.  It's likely ridiculously overdue.  So sorry!

On to December and Christmas.  I've been so inspired by all the many doily crafts I've seen lately.  There's something very feminine and lacy and snowflakish about doilies.  I'm foregoing all the blues and greens and tons of sparkly ornaments I normally use and am opting for a more quiet, homespun Christmas this year.  Enter the doily:

As giftwrap:

I love the combo of recycled brown paper and white doilies.

As decor:
Or for charming stationery:
This is meant as a wedding invitation, but how pretty would this be as a Christmas dinner invite?  Just print in black ink on brown paper and add a doily.

I've used a few of these ideas for our Christmas decorations (plus maybe one or two more).  I hope to have everything finished up this weekend so I can show you next week!
