The love seat.

It's finished:
I'm sorry for dragging this out - I didn't intend to be a tease.  It sat 90% finished for quite a while before I got around to creating the trim to finish it off.  Or rather, begging my mom to create the trim.  We ended up making bias tape out of the same drop cloth fabric we used to upholster the love seat, then folded it in half and sewed it shut.  It looks remarkably similar to the trim on our other sofa.
Now it just needs a pillow or two to add some color.
 I'm pretty happy with the end result.  Even if it's not perfect.  I'm OK with imperfections.

P.S.  For those of you that have pointed out recently that the name of the blog is Gus and Lula, and have wondered about the lack of Gus and Lula-related content lately, here's a photo:
They're still here.  Still their goofy, sweet selves.  Gus has learned how to con Miss Lula into chauffeuring him around.  He looks rather pleased with himself, doesn't he?
