Sunday Morning

Lately, as the wait for our referral for two little ones in Ethiopia has been getting tougher and tougher, I have been struggling with what my attitude should be.  (I know what it is a lot of the time - whiny, self-pitying, and plain old sad.)  I think Romans 12:12 pretty much sums up what we're called to:

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

I'm praying for a more joyful, patient attitude this week.  Hope y'all have a great Sunday!

We were in your shoes a few years ago. The wait was sooo hard. The process was long and confusing (we had an issue with FBI prints also). I believe everything we went through was meant to be. We now have two wonderful little boys. Keep praying and be patient. Suddenly everything will fall into place and you will be amazed at how quickly it all goes.

(I have never commented on a blog so I don't know how to post except as anonymous)

I wish you all the best.

It is so hard to wait. But try to stay positive and not worry about it. Those babies will be yours before you know it! Truly, they will!

I absolutely love your blog! I had to post to say that as an adopted child your particular babies will come to you at just the right time.I'm sure the wait is nearly unbearable. My mother worked as an OB nurse for 7 years while suffering through seven miscarriages. She heard about a mother who wanted to give up a baby from beauty shop gossip (my grandmother was the hairdresser) and adopted me when I was 3 days old.She was meant to be my mother and I was definately meant to be her child. You will always be their "real" mother because,as my mom says "adopted children grow inside their mothers hearts not underneath them" Take hope that your babies are still growing in yours, waiting for the day.
