Skirted Tables

I love the look of skirted tables.  Specifically, tailored, simple skirted tables.
Beautiful, right?  I love how fabric softens the lines of a table, and I love that it doesn't matter what's under the skirt - it's hidden away.  I've been staring at this every time I go up and downstairs:
Needless to say, I'd much rather look at something a little more attractive.  Enter: the skirted table.  It's almost ready for its debut, I just have to put a few finishing touches on it.  Hopefully I'll be able to share it this week!

I'd love to leave you with something a little prettier than cat food, so here are a few more beautiful skirted tables for your viewing pleasure:

Have a great Thursday (one of my favorite nights of the week: Community & The Office baby!).

love the idea of making storage pretty! my husband and i are in a tiny apt for a few years, and i have *lots* of those plastic storage bins. i finally decided that i needed to make them love-lier by covering them in fabric, and i was *really* happy with the product.

(you can see what i did here:

The skirted table is a great way to go if you have an old/dated piece. You can really update the look for a pretty affordable price too.

Dana, I just measured. It's a fairly roomy landing, so there was plenty of room, and since we made the table, we could plan the dimensions to fit. Hope that answers your question!
