I personally like them. Can't wait to see what you're going to face-lift.
I have to imagine that the silver leaf won't give a clear reflection, which is great if you want to bounce around light but don't have anything pretty to reflect. Can't wait to see the results!
I think I like regular mirrors more
i've never seen one in person. but i think it would go very well with your style. very sophisticated, but not fussy. go for it!
Not a fan, personally, except on the frames.
It's sounding like it's split.....I don't know if the squares would show or not -- I've never silver leafed anything before. I would be silver-leafing clear glass that I want to add some opacity to. Any other ideas for this?
I don't like them. They look like a frame around a silver board. Definitely not a mirror in any sense of the word. I DO like mirrors that are etched, aged, and silvery though!
Seems like there's something out there that would etch the glass - acid based. Thanks for the fabric store! I've already passed it on to several friends and my sister in CA is bringing her measurements to stock up! :)
I've found this tutorial, maybe it would look better than the silver contact, because the contact has those lines.http://www.marthastewart.com/goodthings/instant-antique-candleholders
Not feelin' it.... it seems to suck the energy out of the room to me.
Brooke and Kristina, I LOVE your ideas! Thanks!
Not loving it BUT I have seen the metallic silver spray paint, which looks awesome and doesn't have those lines.
GORGEOUS! love the look. and your blog... love!
Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate all your comments and love reading each one!
