Y'all, I'm tired.

I'm watching my nieces for a few days, and I must say that it is exhausting to have two babies in the house.  How do all you moms out there do it?  Seriously -- how???  I'm going to need to know in about six months when we (hopefully) will bring our babies home from Ethiopia.

Anyway, since I'm running a little ragged, I thought I'd show off one of my nursery projects and save the tutorial for another day.  That's about all I have in me right now.  Without further ado, here are my figure-it-out-as-you-go-cribskirts:

Which obviously need to be ironed still.

Excuse the mismatch crib sheets.......I'll blame it on them:

More to come after I get some sleep soon!

Hi, I found your blog from another's blog roll and I must say I just love your ideas. I've added you to my blog roll and I am your newest follower.

What caught my eye was the two baby beds and your title "I"m Tired" :)) Anytime I see two beds and that phrase, I must check it out. I am the mother of twins and to give you my two cents worth, you just do it.

After my babies got a little older I realized that I didn't have the memories of them like I did their older sister. haha. So, after spending some quiet time, reflective thinking and prayer, I was able to bring the memories of my early years with my babies back, they were just hidden in all the business.

Hope your day is beautiful and your time with your nieces fun.

Girl, it is tiring. But when they are your own sweet babies you will be so totally and completely in love that you won't feel it. I promise. One smile from my two month old boy, and it all melts away. The diapers, the tears... all of it. And let us not forget God provides grace accordingly.

That looks amazing! My crib skirt was purchased at good ol Target & I love it but yours reaches the floor!!!

As a new Mom, my baby is almost 8 months! I can't believe it. But I've learned that yes its very tiring to be a full time, stay-at-home-mom, but if you continue with your hobbies & interests, having a baby is like icing on the cake. Our baby boy has inriched our lives so much! Even with spit up, being peed on, & giving him a bird bath after every meal, I don't know how I ever made it without him.

So enjoy your nieces & know when its your own babies, its alot different!

Congratulations on your adopted babies! I can't wait to see pics!!

Hahaha! Everyone... those babies are mine and I am not tired right now! BIG SMILE! Britt, thanks for keeping the girls for a few days. I'm having a blast getting some projects done, but I also miss my babies terribly right now! Hug them, kiss them, and love them for me, and know that you'll be able to get some really good sleep soon... very soon!

Very cute - the room is just adorable. :) I have two year old twins, and I must say that it is exhausting, but also so rewarding.

Adorable crib skirts!

My daughter is 5 and I'm still tired! I second Amanda's "caffeine" answer. Of course it is all worth it but if I were you I would enjoy your rest now while you can. ;)

I love those little girls! We went by to see them today. I can't wait for you to be able to hold your babies in your arms soon :) The nursery is coming along well. I might just have to see it in person sometime soon

Thanks for all the suggestions. It sounds like I may have to start drinking coffee!

Kerry, you're welcome to stop by and get the tour whenever. If you'd like the picked up, neat tour you might want to give me a little notice :)
