Sunday Morning

      I waited patiently for the LORD;

       he turned to me and heard my cry.

      He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
       out of the mud and mire;
       he set my feet on a rock
       and gave me a firm place to stand.

      He put a new song in my mouth,
       a hymn of praise to our God.
       Many will see and fear
       and put their trust in the LORD.

~Psalm 40:1-3

This has been a big comfort to me as we wait to hear something, anything about our adoption.  God is good.

Have a blessed Sunday!

I just stumbled on your blog...curios to know about the free baby grande piano (sent over here from the Nester!)....I was excited to read about your adoptions! My daughters are adopted from Ethiopia, and have been home with us since the end of September! It has been an interesting but totally awesome journey, and they are so wonderful!!! I will be praying for your family as you go through this awesome, difficult, life changing process!!

I love this scripture. I was truly pulled out of a pit. Indeed, God is good!

I don't know if you are a fan of U2 or not, but they have a wonderful song called "40". It's this verse! The song and the verse are beautiful and SO TRUE!

Love love love this verse... I posted Psalms 139:13,14 onto my FB profile earlier, so we are on the same wavelength :) Praying for your adoption... we are also adopting!
