Sunday Afternoon

My sweet nieces went home last week and I think I am fully recovered now!  As I was reading over my last post, I thought I might need to clarify: I LOVE spending time with those sweet girls.  I love keeping them every once in a while when my sister (who is a superwoman) needs a break.  I love waking up in the morning and having them here, and I love putting them to sleep at night.  They are the sweetest, smartest, cutest little girls (and I'm not a bit biased!).  I wasn't sure if all that showed through in my exhaustion, so I thought I'd say it now.

Thanks to all you experienced mommies out there who gave me advice on dealing with the lack of sleep.  When we bring our babies home from Ethiopia later this year I may just have to start drinking coffee.  I've never been a fan of the taste, but if it's as magic as y'all say it is, it's worth it.

~And now for something completely different: my sometimes weekly Sunday morning scripture:

Praise the LORD, all you nations;

       extol him, all you peoples.

For great is his love toward us,

       and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever.
       Praise the LORD.

~Psalm 117

Have a wonderful, praise-filled Sunday!
