Today I visited My Favorite Place in Chamblee. And while it's probably not my absolute favorite place, it's pretty darn close. A huge store packed wall to wall with treasures. Antiques, furniture, tchotchkes......heaven! While there was plenty I wanted to bring home with me, I limited myself. A little.
It felt a little like cheating to snag fourteen pieces of milkglass all at once, but I just couldn't resist. (And I did have to hunt for it. If you've been there, you know!)
I spent a grand total of $28, so I averaged $2 per piece. Not bad, eh?
If you're in the Atlanta area and are up for a treasure hunt, check out My Favorite Place.
I also found another "treasure" I thought I'd share. Sumo Paint. It's like a free, in-browser version of Photoshop. It's extremely similar to the real thing. Except it has this amazing symmetry tool that I think I could play with all day long. Check it out.

Oh my goodness! What a beautiful collection! I wish I could find more milkglass deals in Mobile, AL! I'd love to build a collection and use them in the decorations for a wedding reception.
That was quite a find all in one place!!! I have collected mine little by little over the years. It just is not that easily available in our area or maybe everyone just buys it up before I get there!!!
ohhh....what a fun collection and how have I missed this place?
Wow - what a fabulous collection. I can't believe you found them all at one stop. I've only been to Atlanta once, but now I know I've got to go back!
Jackpot is right!
