I just came across this amazing DIY project over at Random Anny.  She found a great Pier 1 mirror on craigslist for $20, but it had a crack towards the bottom.  After going through a list of possible solutions to cover over the crack, she came up with the idea of gluing clear flat beads around the outside of the mirror.  I love the results!  I would love to do this -- even though I don't have a cracked mirror to cover up.
